" A disappointment"
In our lives, disappointment usually occurs. We are human and it is not true when someone says there was nothing that made them feel disappointed. Disappointment makes us feel very miserable. A regret is a disappointment too. I've been through it lots of time. I get disappointed by my parents, siblings, relatives, friends and even strangers.
It was a blissful day and I met a young man. Actually, I was too afraid to talk to new people especially when the person was a guy and awfully good in speaking English. My English is very terrible and that is why I was timorous to talk with him. My heart was pounding very fast. However, he greeted me first and it made me feel serene. That was when I found out his name was Sly. We really did talk a lot on the first day we met, therefore we decided to meet again and exchanged contact numbers.
The next day we met, the weather was very unpleasant as the rain fell very heavy. He came, appearing in the pouring rain, with haste towards me under my umbrella. His hair was very wet and I could see that he was cold. I had a coat with me so I lent it to him. We walked together to get to a place where we could take shelter until the rain had stopped. Then, we finally found a place which was located near the 24-hour's shop.
"Do you want to have a cup of hot tea?" I asked him. His body was shaking and by then I was starting to worry if he really had a fever. I told him, I'd leave him for awhile to buy hot tea at the nearby shop. By the time I returned, I saw him sleeping on the bench and his nose was bleeding. I woke him up, panicking because I thought he was dead! As he woke up from his sleep, he told me to give him tissues and he acted like there nothing had happened. We spent our night together looking at the blinking stars as the rain stopped falling. By the end of our date, he asked me to be his girlfriend. Well, I accepted him.
Days after that, I went to his house to hang out. "Peep...peep..." He received a fax. It was a letter, but he did not let me see it. However, he told me that he had got a scholarship in Australia and he would be leaving the next day. To let him go was very poignant, but I had to because it was for his future. Then, the next day came, I went to take him to the airport and gave him a hug before he left. He told me, he promised to send me letter as soon as he arrived there. I could only stand and stifled tears watching him leaving.
Day after day there was still no sign. I was waiting for his letter. The tree outside my house started to lose its leaves. Every morning before leaving my house, I would check my post box hoping there would be a letter from him. A week after that, I was shocked that he finally sent a letter. It was not only a letter but with a parcel. I hurried to my room and opened it. It was his dairy with a letter. He wrote:
"I am sorry to lie to you but actually I didn't mean it. I went to Australia to have my last chance to stay alive. I have to take a therapy in Australia. I know that I never mention it to you. It was because I didn't want you to pity me. By the time you receive this, I am nowhere. Here, I did send you my dairy which I wrote from the first time I say you until my last breath. Also, I send you my health report. You once told me that you are the star in the darkness of night, but please listen to me. The stars are always shining and please don't let the clouds cover your eyes. I hope you understand what I mean."
My eyes were full of tears and my life was ruined like a melody on a piano which turns out of tune. I was hoping there was a bridge that could bring me back to the past again. I was so disappointed that he didn't tell me the truth. I can forgive him for doing that but he made me disappointed and let my life turn to dust. Since the time seemed disappear in dusky sunlight and smoke, his leaving made me scared to start any relationship with any other guy because I have lost my confidence and I was really disappointed to let him go. I just hope God will keep him in heaven, peacefully.
^^ so yeah, i hope you enjoy it. Love you all -Muacks!
